My name is Rev. Jocelyn (J.C.) Cadwallader and I am a pastor in the Presbyterian Church (USA).

On this site, you will find manuscripts and links to sermons I have preached along with prayers I have written. Before they were placed here on this website, each of these sermons and prayers were shared in the context of a worship service.

I began my journey into ministry via the Young Adult Volunteer Program through the PC(USA), serving in Belfast, Northern Ireland and Nashville, Tennessee. Following my mission service, I went to McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL and graduated with a Master of Divinity in 2008. In 2009, I was ordained at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, where I served as a pastoral resident. Following that call, I served as the Director of Recruitment and Admissions at McCormick and then moved to Washington, D.C. where I served the Western Presbyterian Church for 3 years as their interim associate pastor. I am currently serving the Takoma Park Presbyterian Church in Takoma Park, MD as their temporary supply pastor.

My wife and I love to travel and camp. We love our friends and family and are grateful for meaningful work. We split our time between Washington, D.C. and our cottage in the small town of Sperryville, VA.

(My wife is the hot one…I’m the one with the glasses)
